Complaints procedure

  • When the individual‘s parents (foster-parents, guardians, caretakers) disagree with the decision of a territorial branch of DWCAO, the decision may be appealed by submitting a complaint to the Director of DWCAO within 30 calendar days after documentation delivery or dispatch to the individual.
  • When the pensions or benefits paying institution disagrees with the decision of a territorial branch of DWCAO, the decision may be appealed by submitting a complaint to the Director of DWCAO within 90 calendar days after notification of pension or benefits paying institution.
  • When the individual‘s parents (foster-parents, guardian or caretaker) or the pension or benefit paying institution disagree with the decision of DWCAO, the decision may be appealed by submitting a complaint to the Dispute Commission within 30 calendar days. The Dispute Commission scrutinises the decisions of DWCAO and takes decisions following the order set by the Minister of Social Security and Labour.
